The new location for the Monterey Farmers Market is conveniently located at the open-air Del Monte Shopping Center, behind California Pizza Kitchen and across from Yama Sushi just off Highway 1 and Munras Avenue in Monterey. With over 60 vendors, you’ll find a wide selection of certified California-grown produce, artisan products, and plants. Open year-round, rain or shine
The Carmel Art Walk was founded five years ago by local artists who feel strongly about continuing the legacy of Carmel's early 20th-century bohemian art colony, when artists regularly opened their studios to the public, giving people the opportunity to meet and socialize with the artists and to see them at work. Pick up a map at any of the participating galleries (see full gallery list below) and be sure to follow the blue lanterns during the walk - each participating gallery will have a lantern displayed out front to help you along your self-guided tour.
Carmel-by-the-Sea highlights its artist colony origins with the Annual Carmel Art Festival. Centered around the visual arts, the festival features sculptures, a juried plein air painting competition, art activities for children, live performances and more. In addition, galleries throughout Carmel will hold receptions and demonstrations during the Carmel Art Festival.
